Master bedroom in a 1910 farmhouse in Spring Lake Heights. We used most of the client’s existing furniture but added a new iron headboard and custom bedding. We did wall to wall drapes to camouflage the windows that are not centered on the wall. There are motorized roman shades behind the sheers to allow for privacy when needed. We added old barn wood to create interest in an awkward opening to a back staircase and made shelves from old floor joists taken from an old sewing factory in NYC. Client loved her original color scheme so we stayed as close as possible while brightening up this room. Before photos at the end of the gallery.
