Kate was hired as an intern in 2007 while working on her interior design degree. Kate’s first task and accomplishment was organizing our very out of date architectural and sample library. Kate exceeded my expectations in all she did. She displayed a high work ethic and diligence to get every job done. She was eager to learn all she could from me during her time with us. Shortly after Kate started, my firm began work on a zero-energy show home in Grapevine, Texas. This home was a demonstration project for the US Department of Energy’s “Building America” program to encourage homeowners and builders to live and build in a more fiscally and environmentally sensible manner. Kate was asked to serve as project manager on the interior design team from construction to completion. It was a very involved task that required a great amount of research, product procurement, and meetings to discuss the phases of the project development. Kate’s energy and talents contributed to the LEED Platinum status that the home was awarded. Kate became a trusted resource in our office for our interior design on future projects both residential and commercial. Kate also provided consultation and direction for green home builders. We hired Kate to design our first
commercial space called CocoonCare. It is a fitness and wellness center created for pregnant women and mothers. Naturally, the facility needed a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a look and feel balanced between a spa and a fitness center. The work entailed detailed floor planning, blue printing and interior decoration. Kate did a marvelous job on all fronts and we realized that we availed the assistance of an architect and an interior designer for the price of one! Kate worked professionally and courteously with all parties involved, including the contractor. She helped source all the required materials, including lights, furnishings and even paint. She worked within our budget and was even available for follow up questions and advice after the project was completed. We always receive compliments on how beautiful our facility is.

When we moved into a new place a few months ago I wanted to invest in some new furniture and try to make sense of all the travel finds my husband and I have collected over the years. I have never used a designer before, but thought this might be the time to find one! I'm glad we did. Kate has been a pleasure to work with and has helped in ways that I did not anticipate. She worked with our current furniture and accessories as much as possible, and saved us a ton of money on the new furniture we bought to make our space more livable. Both my husband and I travel a lot for work and are very short on time. The research, leg work and coordination that Kate has been able to provide has not been a luxury - it's been a necessity! There is non way that I have the time to manage the design of an entire bedroom or do the research to find the best prices on dining tables that were just right. Kate narrowed the options down and helped me pin-point choices that would achieve the look we were after. She was even great about working with me when I changed my mind after something was in the house and not quite right. She helped coordinate the return and replacement - I probably would have just lived with it if it weren't for her! We hired Noble Design Group right after we moved into a new home - we wanted advice on decorating our master bedroom, and general pointers for the rest of the house. NDG provided a full-home design consultation and gave us lots of great ideas for the whole condo, and then we concentrated the rest of the project on brainstorming and sourcing for the Master Bedroom. Since we were cost-conscious, we divided the project into tasks Noble Design Group would complete and ones that my husband and I would take care of ourselves. Kate dove into her tasks in a very efficient and timely fashion researching ideas and providing options for each item on the list. Noble Design Group had a great sense for our style, and was wonderfully accommodating at switching directions when I changed my mind!
